This first release is a sideloaded Beta Tester package. A browser-store edition can follow after field testing and store review.
Download
Save the beta ZIP file, then extract it into a permanent folder.
Open extensions
Visit chrome://extensions in Chrome or Brave, or edge://extensions in Edge.
Load the folder
Turn on Developer mode, choose Load unpacked, and select the extracted folder.
Pin Voqio
Pin the Voqio icon, open any public page, and click it to begin.
WHAT IT DOES TODAY
A focused companion—not a replacement browser.
- Opens as a browser-native side panel.
- Reads the current public page title and URL after a deliberate click.
- Reads highlighted text only when you choose that action.
- Prefills Voqio Search for page analysis, summarization, or fact-checking.
- Uses your remembered Search roles and AI order once Voqio opens.
KNOWN BETA LIMITS
Clear boundaries from day one.
- Chrome, Edge, and Brave desktop only in this package.
- Restricted browser pages, local files, and browser stores cannot be read.
- Login-only pages may not be retrievable by Voqio Search.
- The extension does not transmit page content automatically.
- Firefox, Safari, store installation, and direct Project Memory handoff are future milestones.
